We officially said bye a few weeks ago to the first home that my husband and I bought together. This charming 1935’s bungalow was a great first house, but with all of the fostering we do, we decided it was time we need more space and a better yard. Have you ever heard the saying, “I work hard so my dog can have a better life”? Well, that was us (me). And while I’m a little sad, I still have so much to do on the new house that I don’t have enough energy to be upset! Additionally, I know the couple that bought it from us will be very happy there and I’m extremely excited for them. They just got engaged and this will be their first home together as well – so sweet!
Since we are officially moved out and said good bye, I thought it was time to give the full bungalow house tour. While it never really felt “finished” to me (and there was always something more I wanted to do), this was as close as I would get! I always knew that this was not our “forever home”, so I could never fully commit to spending the money to get it exactly how I wanted it. But, I think it ended pretty cute 🙂

Thanks for stopping by!
