I finally had some time last weekend to snap a few shots of our updated guest bathroom in our new house. The bones of the room were great but the details were stuck in the late 90’s.

I have a certain style in mind for the new house that mixes traditional elements with a hint of a modern vibe. My style is also very feminine so I have to be mindful that the whole house isn’t covered in ruffles – thankfully my husband is the best and is always usually happy with my selections 😉

List of updated features below!

• Updated the countertops to Tipperary Quartz from Arizona Tile
  • I looked and researched what countertops to get for the house (we used the same for the kitchen and bathrooms) and so far have been very happy with the Tipperary. I’ll probably do a whole post on the countertops at some point since there is a lot to learn about the different options available.
• New undermount rectangle porcelain sink
• New faucet and drain stopper (almost identical)
• Added trim around the mirror
• Added new light fixture (similar)
• New hardware – towel holder ring, toiler paper holder, towel holder bar (sold out)
• New Paint
• Details
  • Embroidered hand towel
  • Favorite candle
  • Blue vase (similar)
  • Fuzzy bath mat
  • Soap dispenser (similar – mine was from Home Goods)

Don’t mind the pups getting in on the pictures! Also, side note – I take all the photos for the blog except the ones I’m in (duh!), but I have to set up the camera settings in the camera before my husband takes those pictures (he’s learning!) so there are always a few test shots of him in the camera – he got included this time! hah!
