Netflix Recommendations Part 2

I’m back with 5 more Netflix recommendations of alllll different genres. I really enjoyed watching all of these over the last few years or so and thought I would add them as a stand-alone post since we’ve all been spending so much more time (too much!) at home these days.

You can see my first post on Netflix recommendations here!

I’ve included the genre and just a small snippet of what the show is about… I personally hate knowing too much and like to be surprised. Sometimes I’ll watch a movie trailer and feel like I’ve already seen the entire thing! Let me know in the comments if you’ve seen any of these and enjoyed them too!

  1. Turn: Washington’s Spies (Historical Drama) –
    • “Set in 1778, this period drama recounts the story of Abe Woodhull, an American cabbage farmer obliged to begin spying on the British enemy.”
    • This series is based on true events and is so fascinating! My parents recommended this show and my husband and I both really enjoyed watching this together.
  2. Friends From College (Comedy)
    • “Twenty years after graduation, a tight-knit group of college friends reconnects and discovers that love hasn’t gotten easier with age.”
    • I love that this has Keegan-Michael Key who is hilarious! I wish there were more than 2 seasons.
  3. The Punisher (Action/Thriller)
    • “A former Marine out to punish the criminals responsible for his family’s murder finds himself ensnared in a military conspiracy.
    • Although I’m not usually a huge Marvel fan (unlike my husband), I really enjoyed this show! It has some violence so you might want to skip if that’s not your thing.
  4. Doctor Foster (Romantic Drama)
    • “When she suspects her husband is cheating on her, Dr. Gemma Foster starts an investigation that leads her down a dark path of obsession.”
    • This show is for the girls who like a good Lifetime movie! It’s a good drama series and easy to watch.
  5. Unbelievable (Crime Drama – based on a true story)-
    • “After a young woman is accused of lying about a rape, two female detectives investigate a spate of eerily similar attacks. Inspired by true events.”
    • This pick is for the true crime fans. The story is fascinating and makes you second guess the justice system.

Have you watched any of these? What are some of your favorite Netflix series?

Thanks for stopping by!
