When we bought our new house (original home tour here) there was a lot of work I wanted to do to make it my dream home. The house has really great bones (high ceilings, crown moldings, hardwood floors, etc), and I saw the potential the minute we walked in the door to tour it.

You can see some progress shots here where we had started work on the kitchen and bathrooms, added new paint, but we hadn’t added any new furniture or finishing touches.

While these rooms still aren’t “done” (missing drapes, decor, etc), they have come a long way! We have furniture, light fixtures, art, and rugs which makes every room feel more like home. I’ve been prioritizing the first floor so all of these rooms are downstairs. We still have a lot of work to do upstairs (except see the guest bath reveal here!), but I’m getting there (eventually!). Next projects include master bath remodel, turning one of the guest rooms into an office, and adding an additional closet in the master bedroom.
