We were in Cabo a few weeks ago for one of my best friend’s weddings. Before we went to the hotel where she was married, we stayed in the most beautiful Villa in the Pedregal neighborhood of Cabo. The villa was a great deal at $600/night for 10 people and only a short cab ride from the airport/bars/restaurants. The villa we stayed in is named “Villa Del Toro Rojo” – hence the Red Bull Logo in the pool. I love the open concept where the doors open all the way up so the outdoor pool, bar, and hot tub flow seamlessly into the living room/kitchen.

Pedregal is gated community with tons of beautiful homes and villas overlooking the beach. It has 24 hour security, and many of the homes come with maid or chef service. These homes are perfect places for large groups (family vacation, bachelorette party (see Cabo bachelorette itinerary here!), 30th birthday celebration, etc!) and are a short drive into town.
Renting a villa is a great alternative to staying at a resort because large parties can stay together. It can also be very economical since many of the nicer resorts have a starting price around ~$500+ a night per room (2-4 people). We stopped at the local WalMart on the way there from the airport to load up on snacks and drinks (they sell beer, wine and liquor) for our stay.
At night we went to dinner at the most stunning restaurant called El Farallon at the Resort at Pedregal. It was built into the side of the cliff overlooking the ocean. The whole restaurant was outside and candle lit. It did get a little chilly, but thankfully they had blankets ready at the tables.

There are also homes right on the beach (like this one!) or larger homes for groups of >10 – so many different options to choose from in all different price ranges!
