Falling for Polka Dots under $30

Since I last posted, Toby and Tommy have been adopted (yay!), we had another foster pup adopted, and now have another adorable foster pup at our house!

I also got a new camera that I am so excited to use. It has a bluetooth/wifi connection and can take video. The last camera I had was a hand-me-down from my dad – he bought it when I was a junior in high school. It was OLD! Let’s just say that camera technology has improved tremendously – the old camera was almost like the equivalent of using a flip phone. It is funny though that I didn’t even know what I was missing with the old camera because I didn’t know the new technology existed. The pictures below were taken with the old camera, but my pictures from Frederickburg were taken with my new camera. Before I started the blog, I had bought a new lens, so I’m using the same lens for all of the pictures.

I’m not sure the last time I wore polka dots, but I saw this dress and knew that for $28 it was a steal.

Dress | Earrings | Shoes | Bracelet | Lipstick

It is hard to tell by the pictures, but it is actually a dark navy and it comes in black/white and green/white polka dot. For $28 it is extremely well made. I like the sash around the middle, and the 3 tiered skirt. The material was pretty thick, making it fairly warm and a great piece for fall. You can wear a jacket and some booties as the weather gets cooler.

I found some other really cute fall polka dot items:

Dress | Earrings | Shoes | Bracelet | Lipstick

I liked adding the yellow earrings, but you could add some neutral ones as well.

We are supposed to head to Napa in almost exactly a month, but since the terrible wildfires have devastated the region we aren’t sure if we are going to be able to go. I’m so sad for everyone who have lost their homes and businesses and hope that the fires will be contained soon. I’m keeping everyone there in my thoughts.

xo,

Kinsey
